Join Hiawatha and Marquette Art and Culture on June 24th from 6-8 pm in the Marquette Commons to celebrate the Marquette Art Week! We have music from Rachael Davis and Cloverland Band as well as kids’ crafts and fun for the family! Bayou Chocolat is a Marquette-based Cajun band playing traditional Cajun music from Southwest Louisiana. The group plays traditional Cajun instruments including twin fiddles, rhythm guitars, upright bass, single row diatonic button accordion and T-fer (triangle). Lyrics are sung in Cajun French.
