Join Hiawatha and Marquette Art and Culture on June 24th from 6-8 pm in the Marquette Commons to celebrate the Marquette Art Week! We have music from Rachael Davis and Cloverland Band as well as kids’ crafts and fun for the family! The theme of this year’s Art Week is “Grow” and we are thrilled to be celebrating growth through our local music.

We are happy to have Terri Bocklund as our guest artist. Terri, a renaissance artist inspired by the wild beauty of the U.P., creates thought provoking, musical prose in her contemporary body of work. Combining her skills as singer, songwriter, musical worship director, former Hiawatha director, author, multi-instrumentalist, music teacher, and recording artist, she weaves a lifetime of ideas into her craft. Sons of the Never Wrong for Winter Roots Festival and Hiawatha

March 15 is Hiawatha on Tap (HOTAP) at Ore Dock Brewing from 6-8 pm featuring Sons of the Never Wrong! $10 for non-members and $5 for Hiawatha members.  On March 16, you can head over to the Hiawatha Fold for a “Harmony Through the Backdoor” Workshop with SOTNW from 11-12:45 pm. $5 suggested donation. HOTAP: Preserving the Roots

Hiawatha Music Co-Op and Ore Dock Brewing Co. are kicking off the New Year with a HOTAP on Wednesday, January 17 from 6-8 pm. This event is focused on Preserving the Roots: Celebrating Women of Traditional Music. We are so excited to have 10+ exceptional musicians performing! Tickets are $10 for non-members, $5 for members, and FREE for children 12 & under. Hiawatha will provide pizza! We can’t wait to see you there.
