INTERESTING IN CAMPING OVERNIGHT ON THE THURSDAY BEFORE FESTIVAL?
Overnight boondocking is allowed at NMU's Lot 14, located on the east side of Tracy near the Wright Street roundabout. The following rules apply:
1. Camping is available first-come/first-served. Space is limited.
2. Do not arrive before 5 pm.
3. Quiet after 11 pm.
4. No generators are allowed.
5. There are NO FACILITIES. Do not use the surrounding grounds for a bathroom.
6. Vehicles must remain attached to campers. Do not leave campers unattended.
7. Don't take up more room than you need.
8. Friday morning line-up is a Jacobetti Center (Career & Technology Center) at 8 am. DO NOT ARRIVE EARLIER THAN 8 am.
9. Jacobetti overflow line-up will be in Lot 14 at 9 am.
10. LEAVE NO TRACE.

Festival Parking
There is no parking on the Festival Grounds except for those with Handicapped Tags or Plates and those who have purchased at $100 Parking Permit.
The Jacobetti Center (Career and Technology Center), on the Northern Michigan University (NMU) campus, opens for line up at 8 am on Friday of the Festival. The lot, located across from Tourist Park on Sugar Loaf Ave., is open for weekend parking Friday through Sunday at Midnight. Please note that there is no parking on the grass - NMU will tow vehicles for parking in grassy areas. NMU has generously allowed us to use this lot; please help us to be good stewards by keeping things clean and avoiding grassy areas at the newly renovated facility so we can continue to use them. Additional details regarding shuttle service will be released closer to Festival.
Those wishing to come into town early can park overnight in Lot 14 starting on Thursday and move to the Jacobetti lot Friday morning (no more lining up for days ahead of time). Line up begins Friday at 8 am at the Jacobetti Center. HMC does not have designated parking at the Kaufman Sports Complex this year.
As a reminder, in addition to the Jacobetti Center, parking is available in two other areas:
NMU Lot 22 - Take Wright Street/Sugarloaf Ave. roundabout northbound onto Sugarloaf Ave. Day and Overnight Parking available. Vehicles must be removed by Sunday at midnight.
NMU Lot 14 - Take Wright Street/Sugar Loaf Ave. roundabout southbound onto Tracey Ave. NMU Lot 14 is just inside the NMU Campus on the left. Day and Overnight Parking available. Vehicles must be removed by Sunday at midnight.
Festival Grounds Entrances are located at the 550 Gate (Hawley St.), Sugar Loaf Gate, or the Back Gate on Enterprise Drive. Walkers/Cyclists can enter at any of the three gates. Must have a wristband to enter.
Handicap Parking is available on Festival grounds by Sugar Loaf Ave. entrance. Must have a handicap tag, plate, or special HMC parking pass. Directions will be provided onsite to the designated parking areas.
