Songwriter’s Woodshed is back! We are thrilled to have our first SW of 2026 be hosted by The Make-Believe Spurs. Listen, or bring a song/instrument, and get feedback from your fellow music peers. Square Dance
Hiawatha now has its own Hiawatha House Band & will be holding monthly square dances at our Hiawatha office, aka The Fold, until May 2026! Mark your calendars for the 2nd Thursday of each month spanning from January – May 2026. All are welcome and we’ll have lots of opportunities for folks to join in & jam on the music too! In March, join us at Ore Dock Brewing Co for the Winter Roots Festival! More details to come ✨
Ladies Night at the Fold
On November 13th, Hiawatha Music Co-Op is joining Downtown Marquette for Ladies Night Out! At the Hiawatha Fold, join us for drinks, appetizers, music by The Fiddle Femmes, and local art vendors! We will also be having a raffle as well as merchandise sales. Come enjoy local music and art with Hiawatha!
Annual Meeting Dinner & Dance
The Hiawatha Music Co-Op Annual Meeting is right around the corner! 🧡 Join us on November 1st @barrelandbeam! 🥂 We are starting off the evening at 5:00 pm with a SQUARE DANCE featuring the new HIAWATHA HOUSE BAND! 🪕 We are so excited to incorporate square dance and the new house band into more Hiawatha events!! Following that, the Member Meeting & Dinner will be from 6-7:15 pm. After 7:30, the concert is free to the public! Hiawatha Pre-Fest Kids Parade with Frank Youngman
On July 11th, Hiawatha is holding a Pre-Fest Kid’s parade at Lower Harbor led by Frank Youngman! 🎶 Starting at the playground, your kiddos have the opportunity to make instruments, parade around Lower Harbor, & get a taste for the Kids Parade at Hiawatha in just a couple weeks! This is next Friday, July 11th from 6-7:30 pm. See you there!
Hiawatha Prefest Concert
The Hiawatha Prefest Concert is the last Hiawatha event before festival and the last chance to purchase advanced priced tickets! Join us at Ore Dock Brewing Co on July 10th from 6-8pm and hear the amazing group Youngman & Oldmen perform!
Tales from the Land and Lake: Marquette Songwriters Showcase
Art week is slowly approaching, and Hiawatha Music Co-Op and City of Marquette Arts and Culture is excited to announce the opening Art Week Concert of 2025! ✨ Tales from the Land and Lake: Marquette Songwriters Showcase will be taking place on June 23 from 6-8pm in the Marquette Commons. Songwriter’s Woodshed: Troy Graham
Join us May 15, 2025 from 7-9 pm at the Hiawatha Fold for our last Songwriter’s Woodshed of the year! Our special guest artist for the last Songwriter’s Woodshed of the season is the wonderful Troy Graham! A singer-songwriter who performs throughout the Great Lakes Region, Troy performs relevant, original songs while musically reflecting on his personal experiences.
