Bayou Chocolat HOTAP

Bayou Chocolat is a Marquette-based Cajun band playing traditional Cajun music from Southwest Louisiana. The group plays traditional Cajun instruments including twin fiddles, rhythm guitars, upright bass, single row diatonic button accordion and T-fer (triangle). Lyrics are sung in Cajun French. Hiawatha Music Co-Op and Ore Dock Brewing Co. are kicking off the New Year with a HOTAP on Wednesday, January 17 from 6-8 pm. This event is focused on Preserving the Roots: Celebrating Women of Traditional Music. We are so excited to have 10+ exceptional musicians performing! Tickets are $10 for non-members, $5 for members, and FREE for children 12 & under. Hiawatha will provide pizza! This event is free and will include the complete beer reveal of the new label and flavor of the year! We are also thrilled to have Who Dat Brass performing throughout the evening. Festival wristbands, camping tags, and parking permits will be available for purchase!
