Square Dance

Hiawatha now has its own Hiawatha House Band & will be holding monthly square dances at our Hiawatha office, aka The Fold, until May 2026! Mark your calendars for the 2nd Thursday of each month spanning from January – May 2026. All are welcome and we’ll have lots of opportunities for folks to join in & jam on the music too! In March, join us at Ore Dock Brewing Co for the Winter Roots Festival! More details to come ✨

Annual Meeting Dinner & Dance

The Hiawatha Music Co-Op Annual Meeting is right around the corner! 🧡 Join us on November 1st @barrelandbeam! 🥂 We are starting off the evening at 5:00 pm with a SQUARE DANCE featuring the new HIAWATHA HOUSE BAND! 🪕 We are so excited to incorporate square dance and the new house band into more Hiawatha events!! Following that, the Member Meeting & Dinner will be from 6-7:15 pm. After 7:30, the concert is free to the public! Master Artist Series with Neil Woodward, Michigan’s Troubadour

Join us at the Hiawatha Fold on Thursday, October 16th, from 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm for a Live at the Fold concert: Master Artist Series with Neil Woodward, Michigan’s Troubadour! We are so excited to announce our April HOTAP kids concert on April 16th at Ore Dock Brewing Co.! We will have duo Greta and Savannah perform from 6-7 pm and Papa Crow and Kerry Yost from 7-8 pm for interactive music, dancing, and fun for the family. Kids under 12 get in free! 12-17 year olds: $5 Adult Hiawatha Members: $5 Adult non-members: $10 Kick off the springtime with good tunes and even better company

Winter Roots 2025: Michigan-I-O

As part of the Winter Roots Festival 2025, Hiawatha Music Co-Op is presenting a concert featuring Michigan-I-O on March 1st Kognisjon Bryggeri from 6:30-8:30 pm. ❄️ Michigan-I-O is a folk music ensemble based in Holland, MI that has gathered songs from a 1938 journey by folklorist, Alan Lomax, who led a crew commissioned by the Library of Congress to record the folk songs of Michigan and the Great Lakes region.
