HOTAP: Adam Carpenter & The Upper Hand
Our February HOTAP artist is Adam Carpenter and the Upper Hand! Come by Ore Dock Brewing Co on Wednesday, February 18th, from 6-8 PM for a fantastic evening of music. Tickets are sold at the door. $5 for Members and $10 for Non-Members. All ages welcome! Kids under 12 get in free.
February Square Dance
Hiawatha now has its own Hiawatha House Band & will be holding monthly square dances at our Hiawatha office, aka The Fold, until May 2026! Mark your calendars for our next dance on February 12th. This is an ages 14+ event, and we’ll have lots of opportunities for folks to join in & jam on the music too! In March, join us at Ore Dock Brewing Co for the Winter Roots Festival! February Jams @ The Fold
On the first and third Sunday of each month, our community holds a Sunday Jam at The Fold office. On February 1st, the Slow Fiddle Jam takes place from 1-3 pm, followed by the Phil Watts Old Timey Jam from 3-5 pm. On February 15th, the same schedule will occur. Bring your instrument and play along! All are welcome, and this is a free gathering. The address is 1015 N Third St #9 in Marquette.
Preserving the Roots: The Make-Believe Spurs Honoring Woody & Arlo Guthrie
We are kicking off 2026 with a Preserving the Roots Hiawatha on Tap, featuring The Make-Believe Spurs! 🌟 The Make-Believe Spurs will be showcasing the history & music of Woody Guthrie and Arlo Guthrie! Ladies Night at the Fold
On November 13th, Hiawatha Music Co-Op is joining Downtown Marquette for Ladies Night Out! At the Hiawatha Fold, join us for drinks, appetizers, music by The Fiddle Femmes, and local art vendors! We will also be having a raffle as well as merchandise sales. Come enjoy local music and art with Hiawatha!
Annual Meeting Dinner & Dance
The Hiawatha Music Co-Op Annual Meeting is right around the corner! 🧡 Join us on November 1st @barrelandbeam! 🥂 We are starting off the evening at 5:00 pm with a SQUARE DANCE featuring the new HIAWATHA HOUSE BAND! 🪕 We are so excited to incorporate square dance and the new house band into more Hiawatha events!! Following that, the Member Meeting & Dinner will be from 6-7:15 pm. After 7:30, the concert is free to the public! Master Artist Series with Neil Woodward, Michigan’s Troubadour
Join us at the Hiawatha Fold on Thursday, October 16th, from 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm for a Live at the Fold concert: Master Artist Series with Neil Woodward, Michigan’s Troubadour! Tickets are $5 for Hiawatha Members and $10 for Non-Members. That same weekend, Saturday, October 18th, Neil will be hosting two workshops: Songwriting at 11:00 am- 12:00 pm and Traditional Instruments from 12:30 pm – 1:30 pm.
