The 2023 Winter Roots Festival

The Winter Roots Festival is back!  It lands neatly on St. Patrick’s Day weekend, so it’s sure to be a kick-up-your-heels good time.  The Festival begins at Ore Dock Brewing Co. at 6 pm with Irish folk dancing instruction.  At 7 pm, Tallymoore takes the stage and give us the music to dance to.  Pay at the door, $5 for Hiawatha members, $10 for non-members, and children 12 and under are free. Feb. 15 HoTAAP Features The Driftless Revelers

Just in time, and just what we need!  The Driftless Revelers will be here to help us laugh our faces off!  Join us on Wednesday, Feb. 15 at Ore Dock Brewing Co. from 6-8 pm for all the fun you can stand.  We’ll bring the pizza.  Members $5, Non-Members $10, kids 12 and under are free.

JAN 26 KIDS CAMPFIRE CONCERT REPLACES JANUARY’S LIVE AT THE FOLD

Due to water damage at the Hiawatha performing space lovingly called “The Fold,” our January Live at The Fold event has been relocated to Campfire Coworks, 132 W. Washington Street, in Downtown Marquette, and is being renamed Kids Campfire Concert.  We regret that family BYO dining prior to the event cannot be offered as it usually is for Live at the Fold, nor are we taking reservations. 

HIAWATHA IS TEMPORARILY RELOCATED

Due to water damage at the Hiawatha office and community space, we have temporarily relocated to Campfire Coworks at 132 W. Washington Street in Downtown Marquette.  Office hours are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 11-4.  We can be reached at the usual phone number, 906 226 8575, or by email at hiawathamc@gmail.com.

1st HoTAAP of 2023 Slated for Jan.18

Join us at The Ore Dock Brewing Co. on Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2023 for an exciting evening with Dan Truckey and Friends!  Dan will guide us back in history to explore U.P. folk songs, and his musical pals will be on hand to bring those songs to life.  Early enough to bring the whole family, with the show starting at 6 pm and wrapping up by 8 pm.  Free pizza, too!
