6 pm         THUNDERATION! Welcome Ceremony & Improv Dance – Bring Your Own  

                  Drum – with Carrie Biolo and Maggie Barch

Introducing Thunderation!  It’s a fun way for festival-goers to reunite: to gather, raise a ruckus, move and groove to the sounds, and officially welcome in the festive time before us.  Bring your own drum, rattles, tin pans, spoons…heck, just about anything can make some sound if you hit it right!  Let’s make some noise to celebrate the return of the Hiawatha Traditional Music Festival!  (A limited number of drums and percussion instruments will be available.)
